Integrative Consultation Group

Monthly Clinical Consultation Group

Deepening therapeutic presence through connection, reflection, and compassionate practice

This once-monthly consultation group offers mental health clinicians a supportive, thoughtful space to deepen their clinical work while staying connected to themselves and to a community of peers.

Grounded in Self-Leadership, self-compassion, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB), the group brings together case consultation, experiential learning, and professional connection. Rather than focusing solely on clinical technique, we’ll also attend to the person of the therapist—exploring how our own internal experiences, nervous systems, and patterns of relating shape what happens in the therapeutic relationship.

Participants are invited to bring clinical questions, challenging cases, moments of uncertainty, and areas of curiosity. Together, we’ll explore these experiences through an integrative lens, with attention to both the client’s inner world and the clinician’s own responses. Experiential practices will provide opportunities to move beyond intellectual understanding and develop a more embodied sense of Self-Leadership, compassion, curiosity, and presence.

The group is designed for a broad range of mental health clinicians who value depth-oriented, relational, and compassionate approaches to therapy. Prior familiarity with IFS or IPNB can be helpful, but the emphasis is on integrating these perspectives into the lived experience of clinical practice rather than mastering a particular model.

A Space for Clinicians, Too

Clinical work asks us to be deeply present with complexity, uncertainty, pain, and change. Sustaining that presence requires more than knowledge and skill—it also requires opportunities for reflection, connection, and support.

This group offers a consistent professional community in which clinicians can slow down, think together, learn from one another, and reconnect with the qualities they want to bring into the therapy room. Through this process, participants can strengthen clinical confidence while cultivating greater resilience, self-compassion, and trust in their own therapeutic presence.

Over time, the intention is to support clinicians in becoming more grounded and flexible in their work: better able to remain curious in challenging moments, recognize and work compassionately with their own internal responses, and access a steadier sense of Self-Leadership in relationship with clients.
